Grade 7
Recognizing proportional relationships are now being expressed in tables, graphs, and equations. The context of the story allows us to recognize the independent variable, x, and dependent variable, y.
We are nearing the middle of the module and will be having an assessment next Monday. 7.RP.A.2b, 7RP.A.2c, 7RP.A.2d, and 7.EE.4b are the specific standards we will be using. If you search these standards and Khan Academy you can find more information and practice for these standards.
Grade 8
Practice with solving linear equations and recognizing the three types of solutions has been our focus. We will be continuing with this and including linear relationships written as proportions and solving those also.
