We are starting off on a positive note. We talked about the benefits of organization and students were given planner which have rulers, the school calendar, information pertinent to the various subject areas, and study hints. The school planners are not the only tool to stay organized but it is a common beginning. Today we created the two sections: Notes/Vocabulary and Current Work to be kept in a binder or two pocket folder. We also made name tags and did the multiplication fluency.

1st Day of School
We wanted to thank all the students and their families for helping to create a wonderful first day of school. We had a busy day and hit the ground running. After our morning assembly, we went outside a did several team building activities to start building a positive team culture and to get to know one another better. Students received their schedules and rotated through their classes to get lockers, planners to help stay organized, discuss behavior expectations and what they look for from their teachers. We are excited to get to know our students better and are optimistic about the exciting journey that lies ahead!

2017-2018 Team Sterling Schedule
Here is the schedule for Team Sterling. Please note that Advisory time has changed from last year and is now later in the day. Core classes will promptly start at 7:30 am. Tardiness will result in students missing out on core instructional time and should be avoided if possible. Our schedule may also change depending upon the day-to-day needs of the team.
