Grade 6
We continued with factors today. Students are using 3 columns one for the name another for the factors and a 3rd for the models of the factor pairs and what the area/array look like. On page 23 we all did 12 & 15 then we chunked the assignment and aimed to do 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 with the ultimate goal being 20. Students worked well in class and are not expected to spend more than 20minutes on the assignment outside of class.

Grade 8
Investigation 1.2 Bridge Length was tested. Students collected data are to make graphs of their individual group data and the average from last year's class. There are questions on page on page 9
