Grade 8
We reviewed the platform & red carpet problem no pages 14&15 & moved to problem the next scenario on the TIPS which required students to do tables on page 11 from the pictures and descriptions on page 10. Your students are working through the problems and will be reviewing the work with you and asking for a signature on their paper. This is an attempt to have the students share what they are learning with their home partners.
Grade 7
We are working on ratios and proportions on pages 19 with making juice for campers and also reviewing Analyzing Comparison Statements.
Grade 6
We reviewed our vocabulary and added Greatest Common Factor to the list. The Ladder Method was introduced.
