Greetings Parents/Guardians,
Tomorrow is our canoeing and kayaking field trip to Jeffersonville! If you haven't done so already, please make sure that a permission slip, waiver and $25 fee has been brought in by your son or daughter.
Some items to discuss/bring with your son or daughter:
1) a life jacket must be worn at all times
2) please bring sunscreen as it appears tomorrow will be a sunny day.
3) NO ELECTRONICS
4) bring/wear clothes that can get wet.
5) whatever bags they bring will stay on the bus and they will not be able to access it until the end.
6) bring an extra shirt (to be able change in a port-a-potty) &
7) students can either bring a lunch or go down to the cafeteria at the beginning of the day to punch their code in during breakfast. The students will get a bag lunch that will be brought with them. All lunches will go into a cooler (supplied by teachers) by their advisory
Our goal is to have students and teachers get to know each other better and foster a deeper sense of team. This trip is sure to be exciting and will hopefully accomplish these goals.

On any trip, we need to consider the safety.. Since, kayaking is a water activity, you need to be prepared in any circumstance that may happen.
