math task

Grade 7 & 8
Both Grades have been working with circles, pi, and formulas for various shapes including triangles and rectangles.  The review is in anticipation of SBACs.

Two activities established pi as a multiplier for the circumference (Circumference  = pi * diameter)
and area of a circle ( Area = pi * radius squared).  Students have a handout of various shapes and two word problems which is due next week.
