T3 Progress Reports

Hello Odyssey Families,

We wanted to let you know that 6th and 7th grade students were given a progress report packet in their last period class today.  Please look over the content of the progress reports and discuss the feedback they contain.  If there are any themes in the feedback, please work with your student and the team of teachers to come up with a plan around it (e.g., students may need to stay after school for one or two days to make up any missing homework assignments)  As always, if you have any questions about how your student is progressing, we are available through the email and phone contact information on the cover letter and are willing to work with you.

We ask that both the student and a parent/guardian sign the cover letter.   Please have the student return it back to their advisory teacher to ensure that all families have reviewed the packet.  Thank you for your continued support and partnership!

Sincerely,
Odyssey Teachers

Science Enrichment

Students are encouraged to watch the 3 video installment of National Geographics "Hawaii: Strangers in Paradise"  There is an accompanying graphic organizer that students can use while watching the video to identify the organisms unique to Hawaii and some of the adaptations that they have developed to survive there.

Science

Students received back their cells unit test and either made corrections in class (6th & 7th grade) or should make corrections on their own (8th grade).  There are 5 grades associated with this test and all students are encouraged to take a retest (either verbally or paper) to improve their learning/grades.
