Science-progress report
Students received a progress report in science listing all the collected assignments and their grades for each assignment. Over the next two class days, students will be given the opportunity to make up or make corrections on all graded work throughout the Trimester 3.
Parents/Guardians should ask to see their son or daughter's progress report. Make arrangements with students if they need to stay after school to complete missing work or correct graded assignments. Science NECAP 5/13 & 5/14
Over the next two days, your 8th grade son or daughter will take the science NECAP. The test will cover science content and skills learned from 5th grade until 8th grade. Parents/guardians can support their son or daughter by encouraging them to put their best effort into the test, ensuring they have something to eat before they come to school and encouraging them to get a good night's rest. Homework may be light to accommodate for testing. 8th graders should spend 20-30 minutes reviewing their science notebooks to see how much they have learned over the course of this year!
