Team Odyssey would like to celebrate the following students for having award winning projects:
1) Cameron Laychak- "Plant Health" project looks at the relationship of water plants and fish health.
2) Kaitlyn Tice- "Clams vs. Pollution" project investigates whether clams can help clean up water.
3) Ryan Cannon- "The Seebeck Effect" project looks at the relationship between metals, heat and electricity
4) Baylee Rock- "Acid Power Car" Lego designed car that runs on mild acids
5) Haley Dupont- "Why Bother?" Project investigates whether science fairs help foster careers in science.
6) Angeleah Rivers- "Bending Light" project investigates light refraction.
7) Michael McNeil- "Wind Power" Project created a wind turbine to power a small light.
8) Megan Humphrey- "Visualizing Climate Change" Project investigates whether making carbon emissions visible influences people's beliefs about climate change.
There were many, many more projects worthy of mentioning. I'm proud of the hard work that all students did this year and look forward to building upon this year for next! When we return, posters will be graded and ready to be returned to students. Students can make corrections and improve their grades before the 2nd Trimester closes out.
