Students received back their space quiz before break. It was challenging and only a small handful of students met the standard. I'm encouraging all students to click on the science posts below and use their notes to review the seasons, lunar phases, eclipses and tide animations/websites during the long break.
When students return from break, they can either: 1) create a model of the Sun-Earth-Moon, 2) use the classroom models or 3) draw a diagram of the S-E-M system. Using one of the three options, they can meet with me (lunch or after school) for a requiz where they can show me what they know. I'm hoping many students take advantage of this opportunity to place the power of their grades into their own hands!
