Egg drop
House A Families,
Students will be working on an egg drop this week in science. They will be working with one or two partners for this project. I've asked students to supply the eggs (they may need one or two) and the materials to build whatever support structure they are going to build. If this is a problem, please let me know.
The grading rubric is included to see how students will be evaluated for this project. Just click the hyperlink. We plan on dropping the eggs on Thursday of this week. If you have any questions, please email me or call at 891-5511.

SBAC testing next week
Dear Families of House A,
Next week, your student will be taking the SBAC tests for English Language Arts. We are requesting that each student bring in a pair of ear buds/headphones to listen to the test prompts on the computer. We have headphones for students to use but thought their personal pair might be more comfortable. If you have any questions, please email any member of the team.

Science Fair Grades
Hello House A Families! Welcome Back!
Students were handed a packet with their science fair grades and judges' rubrics in class today. We discussed the feedback/grades contained in the packet and discussed how this will show up on the T2 Report Card in a couple of weeks. We also talked about making corrections and posted a reflection on the whole process to their Personalized Learning Plan (PLP.) I've entered all grades into PowerSchool and they can be seen logging in using the student or parent login. If you have any questions about how your student did, please email me at rdecicco@mymtsd-vt.org. I would be happy to discuss this with you.
Students are highly encouraged to make corrections! In many cases, simple corrections can have a big impact on their grades. They will also need to make arrangements to bring their poster home or let me repurpose their boards.
We will begin a new unit on Force and Interactions starting tomorrow.
