Science
Welcome back House A! We have completed 5/6ths of the school year. We are halfway through the third trimester. This time of the year goes very quickly! We would like each student to cross the finish line in the strongest possible fashion. For inspiration we watched this video today!
Students received back a quiz titled "midsummative 6" They can and should make corrections on it!
We are conducting a two-week investigation in science into how student effort in class affects achievement. Here is the data table and rubric that students will use to determine their effort in class.
For tonight's homework, students should complete this probe that they also received in class today. We will be discussing this probe in tomorrow's class and doing learning activities that challenge students ideas around it.

Their goal is to use media techniques to attract audiences in an attempts to make a difference in someone else's life. Projects range from blogs and web pages, to videos and fine arts performances. Students will only need to use home/ out of class time if they choose a focus in the community. In class preparation time will end April 11, and final projects are due on April 18.
